A local man's lifelong labor of love, the Aldrich Coal Mine village has been partially preserved. Sights include several buildings, a commissary, and a model mine. Of note: the exhibits include an original mural by legendary sculptor Giuseppe Moretti, creator of Birmingham's Vulcan statue.
