Historic Stone Tower atop Flagg Mountain

Sylacauga, AL

Handbuilt built by the CCC in 1935, the tower was originally the crown of the now-defunct "Weogufka State Park". Now in the hands of the state forest, the tower is open to the public (wonderful views) and the approach is ADA accessible. Cabins are also available for camping.
