Gold Star Park, a beautiful spot running along the Coosa River. As with the rest of the park, the playground is tree-covered which makes it usable in the summer heat. The park also features a lengthy riverside walk, perfect for kids to bike or scooter. Note: the best parking is behind the Wetumpka City Hall.
