Storied 1830s Presbyterian Church

Gainesville, AL

The oldest church in what was once Alabama's 4th largest city, Gainesville's Presbyterian Church (c. 1838) is largely in its original form: slave gallery, boxed pews, 1890s organ and more. The church is still in use today through a rotating system involving 5 local churches.
